Week of Monday, 9/7/26 – Friday, 9/11/26
** There will be no homework or tests this week. All HW and other assignments will begin the week of 9/14/26.
- Monday – NO SCHOOL – Labor Day
- Tuesday – Happy First Day of School! 😊
- Wednesday – NO HW – Celebrating Mrs. Miraglia’s Birthday!
- Thursday – NO HW
- Friday – NO HW – (I never give HW on weekends unless it is some type of project or mandatory test that I have to give on a Monday)
** Every Friday on a full day of school, KB will have FUN FRIDAYS! 😊 Fun Fridays consist of an age-appropriate Disney movie, a yummy snack provided by me, and the KB classroom turned into a “movie theater!” I will send home permission slips this week for Fun Fridays. Fun Fridays will begin on Friday, 9/18.

- Friday, 9/11, is a FULL DAY OF SCHOOL
- Wednesday, 9/16 – Back To School Night – 7:00 P.M. – details to follow
- Wednesday, 9/23 – noon dismissal – NO LUNCH – snack(s) and drinks only (Teacher In-Service)
- At the end of each month, your child’s sleep-mat will be sent home to be washed. Please make sure you send it back after it is washed – I usually send it home over the weekend to give parents more time.
- We are always in need of Clorox wipes, baby wipes/Wet Ones, etc. – all your donations are extremely appreciated!
- Kindergarten boys do not have to wear belts – it’s a struggle for them to get them on and off at bathroom time. Unless their pants are too big and they require a belt, please do not send your son into school with a belt.
- Per Sr. Dianna, Kindergarten girls are not permitted to wear nail polish or hoop earrings of any kind – not even “huggy” hoops that are close to their ear-lobes. Studs or non-dangly earrings only please!
- Please make sure to check your child’s take-home folders EVERY NIGHT and send them back into school every day – there is a “correspondence” side and a “keep at home” side.
- Parents – if you haven’t already, please send in the Kindergarten supply fee of $65 – thank you!
- ALL FORMS sent home in your child’s take-home folder need to be sent back ASAP!
- Any changes for your child’s dismissal or anything in general, please send it in writing via handwritten note or email – even if you call the office, please still let me know directly.
- Please make sure you’re labeling everything your child brings into school – lunch boxes, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc. – things often get mixed up in Kindergarten, and if items aren’t labeled it makes it harder – thank you!
