Chapter 10: The Church Serves
1.) Jesus chose Peter as the leader of all the Apostles.
2.) The Holy Spirit helped Peter and all the Apostles to lead the Church.
3.) Peter and the Apostles went to many places to teach about Jesus.
4.) In later years, the apostles chose other men to lead the church.
5.) These leaders of the church became known as bishops.
6.) Bishops still lead and care for the people of the church in their area known as a diocese.
7.) We are part of the Camden Diocese.
8.) Our bishop is Bishop Joseph Williams.
9.) The pope leads all the dioceses in the whole Catholic Church.
10.) Our pope right now is Pope Leo XIV. (Leo the 14th)
11.) By taking care of others in different ways, we can serve our Church.
