I am missing one Halloween Books.

We are missing one girl’s sweater and one gym sweatshirt. Please check names on your child’s clothing.

I am sending home an Animal Friend Book. This book has all the rhythms in it. Since we were working on short A, a /a/ this week your child is to find 10 pictures of this that begin with /a/ cut them out and glue them on the Alligator page only. Use magazines, flyers, etc. It helps if you draw a shape around the picture with a marker. Your child is to do the cutting this develops fine motor skills. this 10 pictures are due Monday, November 9th .Head up this is short a as in cat. try to find pictures that are in the rhythm. Do not confuse with long a as in ape.

This week I will continue to test individually the names of the shapes we have learned: 5 solid figures and 4 plane figures. I will show your child the shape and they will name it and tell me what it can do. Ex. cube it van side and stack, it is made of 6 squares.

The ‘m’ and ‘t’ paper is due on Thursday.

Please keep practicing counting to 50. I will be hearing soon.
