*** The best way to study for the blending reading tests are to KEEP all HW worksheets that are being sent home this week and use them as a study guide to practice and review. HINT HINT – some of the words used for HW might be used on the test…. ***
- Monday – Start working on your Turkeys today! Brainstorm ideas, gather some crafts, and have fun with it 🙂
- Tuesday – Reading take-home pgs. 9.1 – will be in your child’s take-home folder – for the handwriting portion of HW, have your child write the words on a separate sheet of paper. Any type of paper is fine for now, we are going to start working on lined paper/copybooks next week!
- Wednesday – Reading take-home pg. 10.1 (front and back) – will be in your child’s take-home folder
- Study for test tomorrow, 11/5 – blending letters into words (Part 1)
- Thursday – Work on your Turkey projects! Due tomorrow, 11/6
- Take home pg. 11.1 – will be in your child’s take-home folder
- Friday – NO HOMEWORK ON WEEKENDS! HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND 🙂
- Fun Friday for KB – send in extra blankets/pillows
- FULL DAY OF SCHOOL!
- Picture Day Today, 11/6 🙂 – All students must be in their REGULAR SCHOOL UNIFORM
- Reading Blending Test – Part 2 today, 11/6

- Thursday, 11/5 – Pizza with the Priests – for Vocations week, the priests will come around and visit the classrooms/cafeteria while the kids are eating lunch and answer questions about priesthood and spend quality time with the kids 🙂
- Friday, 11/6 – FULL DAY OF SCHOOL, marking period ends, snacks with the sisters for Vocations week, AND Picture Day! 🙂
- Friday, 11/13 – Report Cards become available on PowerSchool for Quarter 1 – please review, sign, and return report card slips when they’re sent home
- November 16th – 20th – Discover Catholic School’s Week!
- Wednesday, 11/18 – half day at noon dismissal – no lunch, no aftercare, snacks/drink only – (Teacher In-Service)
- Thursday, 11/19 – HALF DAY FOR KIDS – Parent/Teacher Conferences
- Friday, 11/20 – HALF DAY FOR KIDS – Parent/Teacher Conferences
- Thanksgiving Mass @ 8:30 A.M. in Infant Jesus Church – Kindergarten’s first time attending Mass from now until the end of the year
- Thanksgiving Feast for Kindergarten – more details to follow via email
- Wednesdays, 11/25 – Half day for the whole school 🙂 THANKSGIVING BREAK! No lunch, no aftercare, snacks/drink only
- Thursday, 11/26 and Friday, 11/27 – SCHOOL CLOSED – Thanksgiving Holiday
